Scott Peabody, Jessica O’Shea, Emma Somers and Carly Nolan represented the Arqus Design Team at the 2015 National Architecture Risk Conference in Melbourne. The conference opened with Gregg Pasquarelli of SHoP Architects, speaking of his large scale projects featured globally, and discussed how to respond to and mitigate risk, as well as take advantage of the risks that can arise within the architectural profession.

Other keynote speakers included Hannah Tribe of Tribe Architects and David Gianotten of OMA, who discussed a range of topics, including, discipline, culture, pedagogy and architectural and planning. The audience was also invited to ask questions, which created an interactive atmosphere, and stimulated conversation.

The AIA’s Annual Architecture Conference was once again a positive experience, with the Arqus Design team taking with them a wealth of knowledge, information and inspiration. For more information, visit the AIA’s event page
