The Project located at 100 Edward st consists of 2 stages, A lobby refurbishment of the main building and an external corner tenancy deck located on the predominate corner of Edward and Mary Street.
The design intent for this project will attract people into the building. The Arqus Design team members involved aim to achieve this through a featured coffered ceiling spanning from the edge of the building internally, into the lobby and wrapping it down the back wall.
The introduction of warm and natural products was introduced into the space whilst glazing was installed to the adjoining tenancy to form a visual connection between the 2 spaces. A combination of Timber look floor tiles, Spotted Gum Timber over a black backdrop and warm lighting was internal to the design intent and set the bench mark for the following stages of work.
This colour palate was then carried through to the new external deck area on the corner tenancy, further connecting the 2 areas of the ground floor which has activated the entry of this iconic Brisbane tower.
