The Queensland Multi Cultural Centre was officially opened on October 25, 2012, by The Honourable Glen Elmes (Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs and Minister Assisting the Premier). Ms Jo Pratt (CEO of BEMAC), led an evening of diverse entertainment and visual delight, including a dance by the Nunukal Yuggera dancers and live music by the Sufi Art Group, Papituy and Greshka.
Arqus Design are proud to see the realisation of this important cultural project, having continued from Scott Peabody’s master planning and architectural involvement through to assisting State Government with the fit out and public art installations. Congratulations to the State Government, BEMAC and Australand in the successful collaboration to delivering this significant cultural asset.
