Scott Peabody

With over twenty years experience as a design architect, Scott has achieved a comprehensive and varied folio of projects culminating in a balanced and informed perspective towards Master Planning, Architecture and Interior Design.
Scott’s depth of design experience has resulted in commissions throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and internationally; including China, New Zealand and Vanuatu. Scott’s experience straddles most building typologies including education, commercial, mixed use, resort, multi-residential and private residential commissions.

Scott’s design philosophy is grounded on achieving responsible, creative design outcomes which respond to the context of the development, the client’s brief and market influences. This philosophy is mirrored in the integrated approach which Arqus Design has been founded on, strengthened by reliable delivery processes.

In addition to his extensive design folio, Scott has been retained to offer expert witness advice on a number of appeals; mentored and tutored architecture students; referenced in architectural publications and featured in a number of design periodicals.

Significant projects which Scott has recently been responsible for the design outcomes include the AIA award winning luxury residential development Jade Apartments; the master plan for stage one of Northshore Hamilton; and the Queensland Multi Cultural Centre as part of the Heritage Listed Yungaba redevelopment.
